Professor Zlatko Winkler was not only a prominent scientist and expert in the field of shipbuilding and the founder of the Section for sea technology HAZU Research Council but also the President of the Scientific Council of Maritime Academy. On year 1969 to his encouragement study of naval architecture is established at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Rijeka. The scientific research and activities in the field of marine technology in Croatia are promoted and encouraged by his scientific work, where the importance of marine technology for the development of Croatian economy is recognised. As an acknowledgement of his life work in the field of naval architecture and marine engineering technology, this conference is devoted to him.<\/p>\n

The Conference was organised by Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Maritime studies – University of Rijeka, Croatia, and Association for Research and Development of Maritime Industries. The Conference took place from 15th to 16th November 2019 at the Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka, Croatia.<\/p>\n

PIXEL participated with two posters from the partner MEDRI, related to air and noise pollution<\/p>\n
